Tribal Worker Benefits

What is the “Tribal Worker Benefits” program?

The Tribal Worker Benefits program is NOW AVAILABLE to Indian Country!  For many years, traditional businesses have had multiple options for their Workers’ Compensation needs.  Sovereign Nations have not been so fortunate.  Because of their unique needs and sovereign status, most carriers shy away from doing business in Indian Country.  We believe that Sovereign Nations deserve to have the same opportunity for success as our traditional business clients.   So now, for the first time, our proprietary products and services are available to tribes and their tribal enterprises.

For many years, there have only been two real choices for workers’ compensation in Indian Country.  The 1st is a profit-share business model, which offers a dividend as a percentage of your premium, if you qualify.  The rebate is calculated  approximately 17 months after the policy year end and you must be a current client to qualify.  The 2nd business model is a no frills, straight up, low price program for your tribal worker benefits.  It may be less expensive than the 1st option.  They offer low pricing with no long-term commitment required.

With BBSI’s Tribal Worker Benefits, you can have both low prices and a rebate with no long term commitment.  We believe in putting you in control of your insurance costs.  For starters, our program is very competitively priced so you can save money, but it doesn’t stop there.  We believe in rewarding you for running a safe business, so we also pay an annual safety rebate on your qualified Workers’ Compensation premium equivalent.  This is a custom rebate specific to your business.  Your quote will define the safety rebate you can expect and you will receive your rebate with-in 60 days of your policy year end or when all claims are closed.   1/3 of your qualifying paid premium equivalent is set asside in your “Basket” and is returned to you minus losses, annually.  See an example.
